An Islam-critical political activist from the US who had received permission to participate in a campaign meeting in London has suddenly been blocked from entering the UK by the country’s left-wing government.

26-year-old Valentina Gomez is a conservative political activist with roots in Colombia, and in the US she belongs to the Republican so-called MAGA movement. As recently as last week, she received the green light to enter the UK via an electronic travel authorization and was to speak at a campaign event on May 16th organized by Islam critic Tommy Robinson.

Now Gomez has received notice that she is not allowed to enter the country. According to The Guardian, it is Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood who intervened to revoke the permit with the reasoning that Gomez’s presence “would not be conducive to the public good”.

The decision, according to BBC, came after the Muslim Council of Britain wrote to the Home Secretary expressing concern about Gomez being allowed to come to the UK again.

In September last year, Valentina Gomez participated in the first Unite the Kingdom meeting with Tommy Robinson, where she warned about the Islamization of Britain.

– England, they took your guns, they took your swords and they raped your women. You have nothing else to lose, but there is still hope. You are still the majority. So either you fight for this nation or you let all these Muslim rapists and corrupt politicians take over, she said.

She also addressed the police officers present, saying that she wanted them to “stop following orders because you know that you are told to look the other way while your country is forced into submission”.

Another person who participated, even if remotely, was Elon Musk. More than 100,000 people participated in the demonstration, which is believed to be the largest of its kind in British history.

Coming by Boat

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has the authority to revoke a person’s permission to enter or remain in the UK.

– Even though we recognize the democratic right that people must be free to peacefully express their opinions, this does not include promoting hate and extremist views, says a source working closely with Mahmood.

After Gomez’s denied entry became public, she wrote on X that instead she might enter the country by boat, just like the thousands of illegal immigrants who stream into the country every day.

“They can try to ban me, but they cannot ban the TRUTH. See you on May 16th,” Gomez wrote:

Valentina Gomez has run for office in Missouri and Texas on an anti-Islam platform. Last year, she burned a copy of the Quran and promised to free Texas from the religion if elected to Congress.

In a video posted on social media, Gomez stated her goal was to “end Islam in Texas” and she urged Muslims to leave the state, saying: “Muslims can go to hell, to any of the 57 Muslim nations”.

She also interrupted a Muslim meeting to express her opinions on the religion:

Briton Lost Citizenship

Last week, Samnytt reported about Mark Bullen, a former British police officer who became the first British-born person ever to be stripped of citizenship due to alleged links to Russia.

This decision was also made by Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood on grounds of “national security”. Mahmood is a second-generation immigrant from Pakistan and identifies as Muslim. Bullen is an ethnic Englishman raised in north London.

Revoking citizenship is a measure normally reserved for terrorists or serious criminals, not for people born in the country.
