The closer the election gets, the lower the support for the Social Democrats becomes. On Friday, the third consecutive poll was released, showing a significant drop in support for the party.

In the Novus poll, the Social Democrats fell by 4.3 percentage points, and in Demoskop, it was a decrease of 3.2 percentage points. Now, in the Indikator poll, the party is tumbling once again, with a drop of 3.4 percentage points.

27.9 percent voter support is the lowest figure ever recorded by Indikator Opinion. According to Swedish Radio, the Social Democrats are losing ground to both the Centre Party and the Left Party, both of which are gaining support.

This time, things look even worse for the Liberals. After surging in the Novus poll and landing at 3.3 percent, here they are down to 2.2 percent – status quo compared to the previous Indikator survey.

While the Tidö government commands support of 46.5 percent, the opposition gets 51.3 percent, which is virtually unchanged since the August poll.
