Nick Alinia: How I Will Vote in the Election

Sweden’s probably most popular opinion-maker on the conservative side follows the example of other social media profiles, telling his hundreds of thousands of followers which party he will vote for. Nick Alinia makes it clear that he has, on several occasions, been disappointed by the Sweden Democrats (SD) during the parliamentary term, but despite this, he stands firm in his decision to vote for the party.

Earlier this week, citizen journalist Christian Peterson announced to his subscribers that among the three immigration-critical parties—SD, AFS, and the Örebro Party—he will cast his vote for the Sweden Democrats.

Now Nick Alinia is doing the same, sharing with his followers how he reasons ahead of the election. Alinia, who for several years has combined his opinion-shaping with citizen journalism, arrives at the same conclusion as Christian Peterson.

Furthermore, he makes it clear that he has, on multiple occasions, been critical of SD’s stance on various issues, but that the party is still the most reasonable choice.

Alinia also takes the opportunity to urge Örebro residents to vote for Markus Allard, in order to give the Örebro Party a chance to enter parliament through the so-called twelve percent rule.

– I believe it would move the political debate in a positive direction for our side and at the same time put pressure on the Sweden Democrats to become more radical.
