A Senegalese professional boxer in Sweden has attracted attention for issuing death threats against the leaders of Alternative for Sweden, Gustav Kasselstrand, and the Sweden Democrats, Jimmie Åkesson. Colliander literally talks about how they must be murdered and that one “must do an Olof Palme.” He justifies this in part by describing Kasselstrand as a “dangerous” politician. Samnytt has been in contact with the AFS leader, who himself has a solution for maladapted immigrants.
– It’s a problem that’s easily solved.

The case concerns Aldo Colliander, 48, a former heavyweight boxer born in Senegal but raised in Sweden. He has a professional career behind him and is currently working as a coach at Djurgårdens Boxing Club in Stockholm.

In the 2000s, Colliander was one of Sweden’s top heavyweight boxers and also competed internationally. However, behind the public career existed another side, which later led to a high-profile legal process.

In 2009, Colliander was convicted at Stockholm District Court for, among other things, aggravated violation of a woman’s integrity, violence against an official, assault, unlawful threats, harassment, and driving without a license.

Dragged Girlfriend – Who Was Supposed to Be Killed

According to the judgment, he had, among other things, sought out his then-girlfriend at her home, pushed her, dragged her into an elevator, and said he was going to kill her.

On several occasions, he also sent death threats to the woman via email and threatened her father over the phone. He was also convicted of earlier violent crimes, including for striking a security guard outside a nightclub and assaulting another man in a nightclub restroom.

The trial in Stockholm District Court attracted particular attention when Colliander escaped in the middle of the proceedings. A security guard gave chase and later apprehended him at the subway station outside the courthouse.

After forensic psychiatric examinations, the court determined that the crimes were committed under the influence of a serious mental disorder. Colliander was therefore sentenced to forensic psychiatric care and placed at the Karsudden clinic in Katrineholm.

The forensic psychiatric care has continued even after he left Karsudden. According to decisions that Colliander himself has appealed, he must, among other things, provide drug tests, take prescribed medication, maintain contact with outpatient care, and not travel abroad without a doctor’s permission.

Year after year, Colliander has appealed the decisions for continued compulsory care to both the administrative court, the court of appeal, and the Supreme Administrative Court, but without success.

A decision from February states that the head psychiatrist assesses that Colliander lacks insight into his illness and motivation for treatment. According to the assessment, there is a risk that if the compulsory care were to end, he would stop his medication, relapse into substance abuse, deteriorate mentally, and become more aggressive.

Colliander himself has opposed this view, claiming it does not reflect reality. As recently as this summer, he gave an interview with Expressen where he stated he had not committed any crime since finishing his prison term eight years ago.

“One Must Do a Palme”

But with just a few weeks left before the election, professional boxer Aldo Colliander has issued crude violent and death threats against Sweden’s conservative parties, focusing especially on their leaders.

The main focus is on Gustav Kasselstrand, leader of Alternative for Sweden, who has gained significant traction on social media this year and thus appeared on Colliander’s radar.

The criticism against Kasselstrand and AFS, as well as the Sweden Democrats and Jimmie Åkesson, escalates to the point where Colliander openly discusses that these politicians must be murdered, in posts and broadcasts on social media.

– This guy is dangerous, he must be stopped. One must do a Palme on him. He is dangerous. One must do an Olof Palme on him. That’s how bad it is. One must do an Olof Palme on Gustav Kasselstrand. He is an idiot.

– Gurra shall be eaten, he shall be effed (raped, editor’s note). They are just like SD… no, they are worse than SD.

He goes on with a series of crude personal attacks against Kasselstrand and simultaneously questions his right to advocate that immigrants should leave Sweden.

– Who the hell are they to decide, man? He wasn’t even born in 1978, damn bum. Damn brat. Fucking son of a bitch. Who is he, man? Comes out of nowhere and says people should go home? Who the hell is he? Damn bum. Damn Neanderthal, caveman. They are making Swedish politics a joke, man.

Later in the broadcast, when asked what should be done about the problems in Sweden and the world, he gives a direct answer:

– The solution is to kill people like Jimmie Åkesson and AFS, he declares.

Taking Over the Country and Raping Swedish Girls

During the broadcast, another immigrant, while Aldo Colliander is speaking over him, talks about how Islam should be spread in Sweden, they will take over, and Swedish girls will be raped.

– We will bazz (f***, editor’s note) your women, we will bazz your daughters, we are here to stay, we will take your wives from you, we have taken over your country, we will Islamify and spread Islam, we will spread our sperm in your daughters.

– We are just as Swedish as you, he says to Kasselstrand.

DIF Boxing: “And?”

Henrik Bromfält is the head coach for Djurgårdens IF Boxing, where Aldo Colliander is active as a trainer. Bromfält reports that he does not see any reason to act in light of the death threats directed by his trainer at party leaders.

– And? That’s the response from the boxing club, which does not even want to view the video material.

Samnytt has been trying to reach Aldo Colliander with questions about his statements in the broadcast and why he is issuing death threats against politicians whose views he disagrees with.

We have also inquired as to how he believes Djurgårdens IF Boxing and the broader club’s membership see a coach expressing himself like this about Swedish politicians on social media.

Samnytt is seeking comment from Djurgårdens IF Boxing.

Kasselstrand: “Does Not Belong in Sweden”

Samnytt has also contacted Gustav Kasselstrand to hear his views on the threats from the Senegalese citizen, who has gone so far as to issue death threats against politicians and, among other things, said that they should be shot like Sweden’s former Prime Minister Olof Palme.

Have you reported the threats to the police?

– I will report the threats to the police. I haven’t had the time today, but it will be done as soon as possible. This is too serious not to take seriously. Moreover, the person has a long criminal history.

How did you react when you saw the broadcast and what is your view on what he and the others said?

– I’m quite thick-skinned after all these years of hate and threats, and rarely react. But this really stood out. He repeats the death threats over and over, mainly against me but in some cases also against Jimmie Åkesson. He also threatens to rape Swedish women.

Why do you think he describes you as a “dangerous” politician?

– It seems to be a combination of two things: first, my politics, which aims to implement a comprehensive repatriation program, and second, our increased popularity.

– The African expresses frustration that AFS appears to have the support of more and more people: “How many people like him?”, he says.

What is your view on him speaking so casually about violence and murder because he dislikes your political message?

– It’s a textbook example of an immigrant who absolutely does not belong in Sweden. He is not Swedish just because he has had Swedish citizenship since a young age.

Establishment politicians are often quick to talk about threats and hate even when faced with harsher or more critical comments on social media. Why do you think it gets much quieter when a politician from the patriotic side is subjected to serious threats?

– I’m sure establishment politicians also receive threats and hate, but it takes very little for it to become a national issue with widespread discussion in both politics and media about “the threats against democracy.” In some cases, however, the threats are likely made up, like in the case of Anna-Karin Hatt from the Centre Party, who resigned due to threats but could not produce a single concrete case, not even a police report.

– When those of us who belong to the real opposition are threatened with murder, no one from the establishment cares. It remains to be seen whether the police’s special democracy crimes unit will handle this – when I was threatened with murder during the last election campaign, the investigation did not end up there but rather received ordinary treatment with a longer processing time.

The boxer also says he feels no gratitude toward Sweden, even though he was born in Senegal but still lives here. What do you make of that?

– It’s a problem that’s easily solved if he, either voluntarily or by authority decision, goes back home to Africa.
